There are millions of e-commerce businesses around the world, and the industry is growing each year, yet achieving profitability has never been harder. Costs are rising, it’s trickier to acquire customers, and it's critical to run with lean teams. As a result, the vast majority of brands guess about things like how to price their products, what discounts to offer, whether to charge for shipping, and what content they should show on the site, leaving 6–10% of potential profit on the table. Intelligems is a profit growth platform that helps these entrepreneurs succeed by uncovering that profit. Our platform provides e-commerce merchants with a wide range of A/B testing and personalization tools to help them understand their data, run experiments, and price dynamically. We’re taking technology that has previously been available only to the Amazons and Ubers of the world, and making it available to e-commerce stores of any size. We have excellent traction: we’re working with over 2,000 brands and have access to more than $10B of transaction and shopping session data. The Role If you love turning complex problems into seamless, high-performance user experiences—and you’re energized by collaborating directly with founders and a small, agile team to redefine e-commerce—this Frontend Engineer role at Intelligems is for you. As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll contribute to the design and implementation of our web interfaces, translating design mockups and product requirements into beautiful, responsive pages built with React, TypeScript, and a modern design system. You’ll tackle challenges around performance, scalability, and a horizontally expanding product—shipping updates that reach many thousands of users each week and continuously iterating on something new. Your impact will grow as we scale from thousands to tens of thousands of customers. One week you may be tackling a thorny UX challenge, the next solving performance load-time for a complicated view. You'll likely touch many other parts of our stack as well, but having strong perspectives on the frontend will be your unique value. Tech Stack Knowledge in all of these is not required, but you should be excited to work within and help us improve the stack.

• TypeScript Monorepo
• Frontend - React web app hosted on AWS S3/Cloudfront.

• Redux, Material UI, Tanstack-Query, etc. also used.

• Backend - Serverless NodeJS hosted on AWS Lambda, managed by SST. MySQL database.

• SQS queues, Dynamo tables, dockerized lambdas, etc. also used.

• Analytics - AWS Eventbus, Kinesis, Flink, Kafka, and Clickhouse.
