Location: Remote - must work EST hoursDuration: Long-term extending contractPay Rate: $50-65/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Technical Skills

  • ERP Change Management Expertise – Deep experience leading change efforts for D365 ERP implementations.
  • Advanced Change Management – Ability to build resiliency and confidence in change management as a focus area.
  • Proven ability to build messaging strategies and plans for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong grounding in structured methodologies (Prosci preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders and the confidence to hold them accountable.
  • Skilled in creating clear, engaging content: email, presentations, job aids, toolkits, videos, etc.
  • Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle, especially as they relate to user experience and adoption.
  • Ability to assess readiness, gather feedback, and adjust plans based on data and results.

Preferred Skills

  • Change Management certification is strongly preferred (e.g., Prosci and familiarity with PCT and AKDAR)
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus

Change Management Strategy & Execution

  • Lead and execute comprehensive change management strategies for IT initiatives, with a strong focus on the implementation and ongoing rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Develop and implement structured change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness assessments, resistance mitigation, and adoption strategies.
  • Ensure that D365 changes are adopted successfully by end users through thoughtful planning, engagement, and reinforcement tactics.
  • Collaborate with IT, business leads, and external partners to align change plans with project goals, timelines, and organizational priorities.
  • Communication Planning & Delivery
  • Design and deliver communication strategies that clearly articulate the “why,” “what,” and “how” of changes related to D365 and other IT initiatives.
  • Create high-impact communications such as email campaigns, intranet content, executive updates, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, training announcements, and FAQ documents.
  • Translate technical and system-specific language into accessible, user-friendly messaging tailored to diverse stakeholder groups

Stakeholder & End User Engagement

  • Identify, assess, and engage key stakeholders and change champions across departments impacted by D365 and other IT initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, focus groups, surveys, and feedback loops to understand user needs and concerns.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to project teams and business units, helping them plan for and navigate through change with minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with training and support teams to align communication and change efforts with user education and reinforcement strategies.

Project Integration & Governance

  • Embed change management plans into D365 and broader IT project lifecycles, ensuring change workstreams are aligned with key project milestones.
  • Attend project meetings and collaborate closely with project managers, IT leads, and system integrators to ensure change and communication are integrated into delivery.
  • Identify change risks and dependencies early and escalate appropriately to minimize resistance and ensure smooth adoption.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Act as a change management advocate, helping build ITs organizational capability around structured change and communication practices.
  • Contribute to the development of internal change and communication toolkits, templates, and standards.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices related to change management, communications, and ERP systems.
  • Mentor and coach others in change adoption strategies and communication excellence
