Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Mobile App Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate has experience with native or cross-platform mobile development, thrives in a collaborative remote environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences. Typical remote U.S. roles emphasize end-to-end feature development, API integration, performance optimization, and collaboration with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Develop new features and improve existing functionality.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Stay current with mobile development trends and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit
- Android: Kotlin, Java
- Cross-platform: Flutter (Dart) or React Native
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party SDKs.
- Proficiency with Git and modern version control practices.
- Experience with mobile app deployment and release management.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Firebase, GraphQL, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience implementing mobile security best practices.
- Published mobile apps on the App Store or Google Play.
