What You’ll Do - Senior Android Engineer (Permanent, Full-Time)Location: Remote (Australia)

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Android Engineer who’s excited to shape the future of our mobile platform. This is a high impact opportunity to work on a modern, Compose-first Android stack, experiment with AI-driven product experiences, and help redefine how we build, ship, and scale.

• Build with Modern Tools: Develop scalable, high-performance Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Clean Architecture.
• Full-Cycle Ownership: Drive features from initial ideation and technical design through to production deployment and monitoring.
• Engineer Smarter: Use AI-assisted tools (Copilots, PR automation, test generation) to accelerate discovery and delivery.
• Own the Stack: Drive technical excellence across architecture, CI/CD, and observability.
• Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams to turn ambitious ideas into polished, production-ready code.

Your Background

• Android Expertise: Strong professional experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Architecture Components.
• Core Fundamentals: Deep knowledge of performance optimisation, multithreading, and app lifecycle management.
• The AI Early Adopter: You’re excited to leverage AI tools to move faster and build smarter.
• The Builder: You thrive on end-to-end ownership, from ideation to deployment.
• Data-Driven: Strong understanding of A/B testing, feature flags, and experimentation to guide development.
• Testing & Automation: Proven experience with testing strategies (Unit, UI, Compose) and CI/CD pipelines.
• The "Plus" List: Experience with push notifications, deep links and in-app messages is highly advantageous.
