CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer AI Healthcare to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise AI applications within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on building scalable web applications, integrating AI capabilities, and supporting clinical and operational workflows through modern cloud technologies.
This opportunity is ideal for a software engineer who enjoys working across the full technology stack and collaborating with AI scientists, domain experts, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
You will contribute to architecture, application development, cloud deployment, and integration efforts supporting next generation healthcare technology initiatives.

Pay:$80–91/hrPosition Type: Consultant
Duration: 13 weeks

What you will do
• Design develop and deploy web applications and APIs that support AI enabled healthcare initiatives
• Partner with AI scientists domain experts and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Drive architectural decisions that support growth scalability and performance
• Write high quality efficient and well documented code
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members
• Integrate applications with external APIs and data services
• Debug test and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure protection of sensitive information
• Deploy and support cloud based applications and services
• Stay current with emerging software engineering and AI technologies
What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• 5 or more years of experience in software and application development
• Experience with modern frontend technologies including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript React or Angular
• Strong programming experience using Python Java or similar languages
• Experience building APIs and RESTful web services
• Experience working with Epic EHR and healthcare integration standards including FHIR HL7 and SMART on FHIR
• Experience with DevOps tools including Git Azure DevOps CI CD Docker and cloud monitoring tools
• Hands on experience with Azure and GCP cloud environments
• Understanding of secure coding standards and security best practices
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
Nice to have
• Experience with Epic data stores including Chronicles Clarity and Caboodle
• Experience with Databricks Snowflake or modern data platforms
• Familiarity with AI agent technologies such as LangGraph Swarm or MCP
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and technologies
• Experience supporting healthcare or clinical technology environments
