Technical Project Manager (remote)

We’re now helping a remote-first consulting company hire a Technical Project Manager to lead complex software and data-driven client projects.

This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, works comfortably in changing environments and knows how to turn technical complexity into clear delivery plans.

The company works with mid-sized and enterprise clients on projects such as custom software development, data platforms, system integrations and cloud-based solutions. Assignments often involve multiple stakeholders, evolving requirements and high expectations on quality and pace.

As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll operate close to both engineering teams and clients. You’ll be responsible for planning, execution and follow-up — ensuring that delivery moves forward with structure, transparency and momentum.

What you’ll work on

• You’ll lead client projects from initial planning to delivery, setting scope, timelines and priorities together with technical teams and client stakeholders. A large part of the role is translating business needs into actionable plans that engineers can execute on.

• You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies and risks, and continuously adjust plans as requirements change. Clear communication is key — both internally and externally — to keep everyone aligned on progress, trade-offs and next steps.

Beyond individual projects, you’ll contribute to improving delivery processes, project structures and ways of working across the consulting organization.

Common tools & setup

• Project management tools such as Jira, Linear or similar
• Documentation and collaboration tools (Confluence, Notion, Google Workspace)
• Close collaboration with engineering teams working in modern cloud and data environments

• Experience as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager or similar role
• Background working with software, data or platform-focused projects
• Comfortable coordinating engineers, consultants and client stakeholders
• Strong sense of structure, prioritization and ownership
• Able to make decisions with incomplete information and move work forward
• Thrives in fast-moving, growth-oriented environments
