Computer Programmer 1

Description The Computer Programmer 1 supports the development and maintenance of systems used to process and manage large datasets. This role focuses on implementing updates, assisting with application development, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting system testing activities. The position contributes to improving system performance and ensuring that data flows efficiently through established processes. Working as part of a collaborative technical team, the Programmer 1 helps maintain reliable and effective systems that support ongoing operational needs. Key Responsibilities

• Write programs to reformat supplied data into formats compatible with applicable systems.
• Evaluate quotes for systems redesign.
• Develop, test, and implement new processing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair system problems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals for any systems developed in-house.
• Maintain an intranet website.

Requirements

• Two years of experience developing complex web-based applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft .Net framework.
• Experience with writing applications in ASP.Net, VB.Net, and C #.
• Experience working with users in gathering requirements.
• Experience in system testing, including planning, executing, developing test data, and documenting the testing.
• Experience working with users to develop and execute acceptance testing.

Work Location:

• Fully remote (continental United States).
• Candidates must maintain reliable connectivity and be available to support system development, troubleshooting, and collaboration with distributed team members during standard operating hours.
