About the Role

As a Full Stack Software Developer at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions for our clients in the Oil and Gas sector. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will drive the creation of scalable, high-performance applications that support critical business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative products that meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Entity Framework.
  • Implement RESTful web services and ensure seamless integration with backend systems.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage and deliver software projects efficiently.
  • Develop unit tests and leverage automated testing platforms to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Utilize source control tools such as GitHub for code management and versioning.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, with exposure to GitHub Actions and DevOps practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to internal and external clients.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Meet project deadlines while upholding the highest standards of code quality and performance.
  • Demonstrate leadership by influencing, mentoring, and motivating team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and open-minded team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in full stack software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or a two-year technical diploma.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, programming, and software design techniques.
  • Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Core, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, xUnit, RESTful web services, and Entity Framework.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and unit testing.
  • Proficient in using GitHub and other development aiding tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • High level of resourcefulness, results orientation, and ability to prioritize tasks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of Azure Stack technologies (Docker, Azure Container Apps, Azure WebApp, Function App).
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and scripting.
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry, particularly with Gas Transmission Pipeline Commercial business processes.
  • Experience working with managed service providers.
