The Role
- Take ownership of cloud data infrastructure to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Design and implement scalable data storage, layered data structures, and reliable reporting data models
- Build automated ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations between operational systems, third-party platforms, and internal applications
- Implement monitoring, scheduling, and alerting to ensure data pipeline and database reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related discipline
- Strong hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, managed databases, and orchestration services
- Advanced SQL skills alongside experience in ETL/ELT pipeline design and API integrations
- Proven background in database performance tuning, data governance, and data security standards
