Hays IT Contracting is a cooperation based on B2B rules. We connect IT specialists with the most interesting, technological projects on the market. For our client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of Business Analyst.

Work mode: remote work

Compensation:

Exp 5-12 lat: 130- 155 zł/h net+vat

Exp 12 lat+: 160-170 zł/h net+vat

Contract type: B2B, through Hays Poland

English: C1/B2+

Core Skills

• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Requirements gathering and documentation (e.g., user stories, use cases)
• Process mapping and modeling (e.g., BPMN, swimlanes)
• Stakeholder engagement and facilitation
• Clear written and verbal communication

Technical / Tools (examples)

• Productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word or equivalents)
• Requirements and workflow tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
• Basic data analysis (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools – depending on level)

Experience

• Min.5 year of project management experience in an international setting
• Experience working on projects or change initiatives (e.g., systems implementations, process improvements)
• Exposure to both business and technology stakeholders
• Prior experience working across business domains is highly advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Professional certifications (optional but beneficial), e.g.: IIBA (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP)
• Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum, Product Owner)
• Lean/Six Sigma (for process-focused roles)
• Customer and stakeholder focus
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to simplify complexity and explain it clearly
• Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative
• Comfortable working in a changing environment and managing ambiguity

Position overview:

To bridge business needs and technology solutions by analyzing requirements, optimizing processes, and ensuring that change initiatives deliver measurable value to the organization.

Requirements Elicitation & Analysis

• Engage stakeholders to understand business problems, goals, and constraints
• Document and analyze business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions

Process Analysis & Improvement

• Map current-state (AS-IS) processes and design future-state (TO-BE) processes
• Identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Support the design of standardized processes and controls

Solution Design Support

• Translate business requirements into clear specifications/user stories for technology and delivery teams
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and SMEs to assess solution options
• Validate solutions against requirements and business objectives

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as a liaison between business, IT, and other support functions
• Prepare and deliver clear documentation, presentations, and status updates
• Manage expectations, resolve requirement conflicts, and support decision-making

Data & Insights

• Analyze data to support problem definition, root cause analysis, and benefits estimation
• Produce reports, dashboards, and basic analytical insights to inform recommendations
• Support definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs)

Change & Implementation Support

• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing): test case design, execution support, issue tracking
• Contribute to training materials and business readiness activities
• Help monitor post-implementation performance and benefits realization
