Full Stack Engineer

Hampton North is partnering with an exciting Series D startup in the cyber risk space, backed by prominent investors. Founded by experts from top military, intelligence, insurance, and tech sectors, they're transforming how cyber risk is assessed and managed for mid to large-market enterprises. With decades of experience, the company merges cyber insurance with advanced cybersecurity insights to enhance organizational resilience.

They’re building a next-generation platform that blends cybersecurity, risk analytics, and modern web applications, tackling complex technical challenges at scale.

Compensation: 150-200k + Bonus + Equity

Logistics: Full Remote (US based), unable to offer sponsorship

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate requirements into technical specs and deliver new platform features end-to-end
• Build, maintain, and scale web applications using TypeScript, Node, React, and Postgres
• Write clean, testable code and perform thorough unit and integration testing
• Review code, uphold best practices, and coach junior engineers
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape engineering standards across the team

And what you'll need:

• 4-8 years’ experience in full-stack development (TypeScript, Node, React, Postgres, AWS, Docker)
• Solid grounding in software design and computer-science fundamentals
• Experience leading small technical initiatives or mentoring others
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Curiosity and drive to learn new technologies and improve continuously
