We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join an SME business lender in Brisbane. This permanent role offers a competitive salary range of circa $120,000k + Super + bonuses, and provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge strong relationships with a network of referral partners, including finance brokers and accountants, to drive the referral of SMEs seeking asset finance and working capital funding.
  • Consistently engage with partners to ensure they understand product offering and key credit criteria, maximizing conversion rates.
  • Represent the business at industry events and conferences, leveraging your market knowledge to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Formulate, implement, and manage a strategic territory plan to achieve agreed sales targets.
  • Prospect for potential new referral partners and turn this into increased awareness, leads, business activity, and revenue.
  • Regularly engage with the existing partner referral base to generate new referrals and present new products and services.
  • Analyze the top-level performance of a business using key financial information and metrics to assess the suitability of the business in line with Clarian's credit criteria.
  • Accurately enter and manage data within the company's CRM or other sales management system, ensuring forecasts and targets are met.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales or channel management role, with a developed network in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex products in a clear and engaging manner.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Accounting is preferred.

This role will be offered as fully remote with travel throughout QLD and to Sydney to meet with head office team.
