Role Description The Director of Project Operations for Asia is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and coordinating complex projects across the Asian portfolio of GSE Partners. This role manages end-to-end project lifecycles, including scoping, planning, resourcing, execution, and post-implementation review, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with strategic objectives. The director will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, portfolio company leadership, and external partners to align project priorities, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement in processes and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring project progress, analyzing operational data, managing risk and issue resolution, preparing executive-level reports, and optimizing workflows to support scalable growth. The role also involves developing and standardizing operational best practices across the region, supporting customer-centric initiatives, and contributing to regional strategy and long-term value creation. Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management experience, with a proven ability to design, implement, and improve processes across multiple projects or business units.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and risk management for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial and operational data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight, with experience managing project or departmental budgets.
- Commitment to high-quality Customer Service, with the ability to support portfolio companies and partners through clear communication and responsive problem-solving.
- Relevant experience in sports, media, entertainment, or related sectors in Asia, with familiarity navigating regional business practices and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) are beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
