About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise in the Investment Management domain to lead product strategy, drive business value, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with investment platforms, front-office or middle-office investment systems, portfolio management processes, and financial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for critical investment platforms.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating complex investment domain requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, and Compliance to gather detailed business needs.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management) and collaborate with development, QA, and UX teams.
• Act as the domain expert on investment workflows, portfolio accounting, risk analytics, and performance reporting.
• Ensure all product features comply with industry regulations and internal controls.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst in the Investment Management / Asset Management / Wealth Management industry.
• Solid understanding of:
• Portfolio management lifecycle (front-office to back-office)
• Trade order management & execution
• Fund accounting, NAV calculations, reconciliation processes
• Investment products (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs, etc.)
• Risk, performance attribution, and compliance workflows
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with platforms like Charles River, Aladdin, SimCorp, Eagle, Bloomberg, Calypso, or similar OMS/PMS systems.
• Professional certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, CFA (Level 1+) or FRM.
• Experience with data platforms, financial reporting tools, and APIs in investment systems.
