Compensation: £65,000 to £80,000 / €75,000 to €90,000
SUMMARY:
Frequency Advisors Europe seeks a proactive Blockchain/Full-Stack Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have excellent programming skills, a passion for designing end-to-end systems, and the initiative to deliver innovative solutions autonomously in an agile software development environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a dynamic, skillful, and self-directed Blockchain/Full-Stack Developer who excels at architecting and building complete systems. Our technology stack consists of
- Solidity / Foundry / Hardhat
- Node.js / TypeScript / JavaScript
- React / Rust /Go
- SQL and NoSQL databases
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU:
- Understand L2 architecture and different L2 scaling solutions such as Rollups (Optimistic Rollups, ZK-Rollups), state channels, and side chains.
- Architect, develop, and deploy smart contracts and end-to-end dApp systems on Ethereum compatible blockchain platforms.

- Demonstrate critical thinking and common sense to infer requirements and propose innovative solutions with minimal guidance.
- Proficiency with Ethereum node software, such as geth, to set up full nodes, connect with L1 or L2 chains, and test applications.
- Develop front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) architecture for dApp systems.
- Implement automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure code quality and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
- Write maintainable, extensible, robust, and performant code.
- Propose solutions that improve the performance and maintainability of our product.
- Functionally test all developed code to a high standard to enable QA to test efficiently.
- Interact with product management to develop a strong understanding of the product and its objectives.
- Follow and help develop the internal coding and documentation standards.
- Be self-motivated to continually learn and understand the latest industry innovations and technology.
- Own and drive development tasks that you are involved in, participating and supporting your Agile development Scrum team – in particular, peer-reviewing and testing other developers’ code.
- Suggest improvements to our SDLC process.
- Actively participate in Scrum events; refinement, planning, stand-ups, reviews and retros.
- Mentor and provide leadership to other members of your Scrum team.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligible to work in the UK or Republic of Ireland.
- Access to high-speed broadband (>100Mb download and >20Mb upload) - this role is a remote working position.
- 7+ years of working as a software developer with demonstrable experience of Solidity, Node.js, React (or similar JS framework), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- At least 3 years of blockchain development experience with Ethereum based ecosystems and familiarity with bridging between L1 and L2.
- Strong system design and problem-solving skills with a track record of building maintainable, performant dApp systems.
- Familiarity with relational and no SQL databases.
- Experience of version control systems, ideally Git.
- Experience working in an Agile environment; comfortable in a dynamic work environment where speed and agility are balanced with quality and compliance.
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, or similar).
- A team player with the ability to work as part of a self-directed team, determining tasks daily in coordination with co-workers.
- Project management skills/qualifications to facilitate progress tracking and coordination.
- Knowledge and experience of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Rust or Go for blockchain development, microservices, or performance-critical systems.
- Familiarity with multi-chain protocols, cross-chain bridges, or advanced L2 frameworks.
- Familiarity with game engines like Unity, Unreal, GoDot, or similar.
