We’re supporting a stealth start-up rethinking workforce health and absence management. The founder, a leading occupational health consultant who has saved UK companies tens of millions through data-driven strategies, is now building a platform that turns absence tracking into predictive insights.

There’s already a wait-list of paying enterprise clients ready to onboard once the MVP launches. The goal: transform a traditionally manual HR process into an intelligent system that predicts risk, reduces absenteeism, and optimises workforce wellbeing. Now, we’re looking for a founding engineer to bring this vision to life and rebuild the MVP into a scalable product.

What we're looking for

• Strong full-stack background – capable of owning end-to-end delivery
• Proficiency in one or more modern frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue) and backend stacks (Node.js, Django, or FastAPI)
• Experience designing scalable data systems (PostgreSQL or MongoDB) and cloud infra (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Comfortable building dashboards, workflow automation, and analytics features
• Bonus: exposure to AI or data-driven insight products
• Builder mindset – someone who thrives in fast, early-stage environments and wants genuine ownership
