Job Description

Posted on: May 22, 2025

About Eye Security Eye Security is providing cybersecurity with embedded cyber insurance solutions for organizations in Europe. Headquartered in the Netherlands, we are already over 170 FTEs and continue to grow internationally. We combine cutting-edge technology with hands-on expertise to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats in real time. Our team brings together talent from intelligence, military, tech, and consulting backgrounds — all united by a shared mission: to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to every business, not just the big players. At Eye, you’ll work on projects with an international footprint, solving real-world challenges and helping to build a safer digital future for our clients. About This Role We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing (m/f/x) to lead and scale our Product Marketing function as we expand across Europe. As our business continues to grow and our platform evolves, this role will play a critical part in shaping how we position our cybersecurity solutions in the market. You will take full ownership of the product marketing strategy — driving messaging, sales enablement, content, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market execution. With a growing team, you’ll lead from the front while also building the structure, processes, and capabilities needed to take us to the next level. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the VP of Product & Engineering, and designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, operates with high agency, and brings deep cybersecurity product marketing expertise. What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop the Product Marketing function: Own and scale the team, starting with the current Product Marketing Manager. Foster a collaborative, outcome-oriented environment with clear strategic direction and operational excellence.
  • Strategic positioning and messaging: Define and continuously evolve the core positioning and value propositions of our cybersecurity offerings to ensure they resonate with technical and business audiences alike.
  • Sales enablement: Equip our go-to-market teams with impactful materials — from pitch decks and training to demos, battlecards, and objection handling guides.
  • Go-to-market (GTM) execution: Develop and orchestrate comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches and key updates, in close partnership with Product, Sales, and Engineering.
  • Competitive intelligence: Build and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to sharpen positioning, influence roadmap, and support strategic decisions.
  • Content strategy: Define and oversee a content strategy that supports thought leadership, demand generation, and customer education — across blogs, whitepapers, decks, and more.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring alignment and clarity across functions.
  • Cybersecurity subject matter leadership: Apply deep knowledge of threats, technologies, and market trends to inform all aspects of messaging, positioning, and strategic planning.

What You Will Need

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, with at least 3 years in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Hands-on experience defining product messaging, executing GTM strategies, and enabling sales teams in complex B2B SaaS environments.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity market dynamics, customer pain points, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a bias for action — comfortable setting direction and executing on it.
  • High agency and visibility — able to proactively drive initiatives, make decisions, and operate with ownership.
  • Comfortable in a remote, fast-growing environment where leadership is both strategic and hands-on.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful mission: protect organizations across Europe from real-world cyber threats.
  • Work with top-tier professionals from national CERTs, intelligence agencies, and leading tech backgrounds.
  • Full ownership of a strategic function in a high-growth cybersecurity scale-up.
  • A remote-friendly culture with quarterly meetups and annual company retreats (in Spain, Portugal, Italy…).
  • Weekly lunches (NL) and Thursday socials to stay connected.
  • A generous time-off policy, including wellbeing and volunteering days.

Are you up for it? We look forward to receiving your application.
