JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Senior Frontend & Mobile Developer to expand our team on the development of our mobile-first applications and our web frontend. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong native mobile background who has successfully delivered React Native applications across both Android and iOS, beyond basic or Expo-only usage.

You will work closely with backend teams using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring smooth API integrations and consistent user experiences across platforms. The role reports to the Head of Front & Mobile Development and plays a key part in shaping frontend and mobile engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain mobile-first applications using React Native for both Android and iOS
• Develop and maintain web frontend applications using React and Tailwind CSS
• Deliver production-grade React Native apps from scratch, including native modules and platform-specific integrations
• Apply strong responsive design principles across mobile and web experiences
• Integrate frontend and mobile applications with backend APIs built in Java Spring Boot
• Leverage modern state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Ensure high-quality releases through testing strategies like Jest, React Testing Library, Detox or Espresso
• Manage mobile build and release pipelines like Fastlane and App Store / Play Store deployments
• Apply best practices in mobile engineering, accounting for platform constraints, performance, and security
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers and designers

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSRequired:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in frontend and mobile development
• Strong experience with React Native delivering apps for both Android and iOS (beyond Expo-level usage) and Tailwind
• Solid native mobile development background (Android and iOS required) 
• Proficiency in React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend best practices
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first UX principles
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Deep understanding of mobile engineering concepts, performance optimization, and platform limitations
• Experience integrating frontend/mobile applications with backend REST APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile and frontend projects
• Experience with testing strategies like Jest, React Testing Library, Detox or Espresso
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• Experience with fintech or payment-related applications
• Strong Android experience with Java and/or Kotlin is highly valued
• Exposure to iOS native development (Swift / Objective-C)
• Familiarity with advanced mobile security concepts
• Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams
• Contributions to frontend or mobile architecture standards
