Technical Lead (Remote, AEST hours) | Dijitally

We’re now looking for a talented Technical Lead to join our team and drive the technical execution of key web development initiatives. If you’re a hands-on leader who’s equally comfortable coding, mentoring, and collaborating across teams, we’d love to hear from you.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Setting the technical direction and leading the delivery of web development projects.
• Managing complex site migrations (including hosting via temporary proxy environments).
• Implementing best practices in SEO, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Mentoring mid-level developers across React, Next.js, CSS/styled components, and CMS integrations.
• Working closely with design and product teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive experience with Headless CMS platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, and CSS/styled-components.
• Proven success managing site migrations and temporary proxy hosting.
• Full-stack development capabilities, with a sharp eye on both front-end and back-end integrations.
• A deep understanding of SEO strategies and technical best practices.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• WordPress
• Builder.io CMS
• Tailwind CSS

This is a remote role, with core working hours aligned to the Australian AEST time zone. We value flexibility but also trust you to manage your workload effectively. You’ll stay connected with the team through Slack, G-suite, and email — and your ability to communicate clearly and proactively with clients and stakeholders will set you up for success.
