Role: Software Developer (AWS, Python, TypeScript)
Location: UK-based remote working
Salary: £60k-£65k
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, cloud-native architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform services.
- Apply AI-powered development tools throughout design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote engineering best practices, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' commercial software development experience.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT) to improve productivity and software quality.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.
- Commercial experience working with TypeScript/React
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Agile development, and software development lifecycles.
- Interest in cloud-native technologies, scalable architectures, and modern software engineering practices.
