Full Stack Engineer
Job Description
Posted on: December 17, 2025
This is not a traditional programming role.
We don't write code the way most companies do. We architect with AI agents. We think in specifications, orchestrate LLM workflows, and treat AI as our primary development tool—not an autocomplete assistant.
If you're hand-crafting functions line-by-line, using Copilot for boilerplate, or treating AI as a glorified Stack Overflow, this role isn't for you.
We're looking for someone who has already made the leap to agentic, specification-driven development, someone who understands how to leverage Claude and similar tools to build production-grade systems at a velocity that would seem impossible to traditional developers.
What You'll Do
· Architect and orchestrate complex full-stack applications using AI agents as your primary development paradigm
· Design specifications that translate business requirements into executable systems through agentic workflows
· Build production systems that handle real-time data processing, ML automation, and intelligent user interactions
· Ship at startup velocity: we resolve dozens of issues and features daily, not weekly
· Own the technical vision for how we leverage AI to out-build competitors 10x our size
· Maintain code quality through rigorous testing, version control discipline, and continuous refactoring
· Collaborate intensively with founders on product direction, technical decisions, and architectural evolution
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
· Expert-level proficiency in agentic development using Claude Code or similar platforms for specification-driven workflows
· Proven track record building production applications through AI orchestration (not traditional hand-coding with AI assistance)
· Deep understanding of how to architect scalable systems that AI agents can build and maintain
· Strong software engineering fundamentals: version control, SDLC, branching strategies, CI/CD, testing philosophies
· Full-stack capability: comfortable across frontend, backend, databases, and deployment
· Battle-tested problem-solving: you've debugged production systems, optimized performance, and made hard architectural tradeoffs
· Self-directed learning: when you hit knowledge gaps, you fill them independently
Bonus Points
· Any ML/data science knowledge: you understand model training, evaluation metrics, data pipelines, and can have technical conversations with data scientists
· Experience with BMAD Method or similar agentic frameworks
· Knowledge of parallel sub-agents, skills, commands, MCP servers, RAG architectures
· Contributions to open source AI development tools
· Background in ML engineering, MLOps, or data platforms
· Prior startup experience where you wore multiple hats
Culture & Expectations
The Pace: This is intense. We iterate in hours, not sprints. Some days you'll ship more features than traditional teams ship in a year. If you need predictable 9-5 schedules or slow, methodical planning cycles, this will burn you out.
The Learning Curve: AI-assisted development is evolving rapidly. Tools that didn't exist last month become core to our workflow next week. You need to love living on the edge of what's possible.
The Environment: We give and receive direct feedback constantly. We debate technical decisions passionately and change our minds when presented with better ideas. We focus on problems and solutions, never on ego or politics.
The Opportunity: The applications we're building didn't exist a year ago because the tooling to build them didn't exist. You're not joining to maintain legacy systems, you're helping define what the next generation of software development looks like.
We Teach
· Domain-specific data science concepts
· Our product vision and customer insights
· Our internal processes and tooling
You Bring
· The drive to master new paradigms
· A positive attitude and collaborative spirit
· The humility to learn and the confidence to lead
· A builder's mentality: you see obstacles as puzzles, not blockers
Why This Role Is Different
Most "AI engineer" roles are traditional software engineering with ChatGPT on the side. Most "full stack" roles are maintaining CRUD apps with React and Node.
This role is neither.
You'll be pioneering a genuinely new way of building software—one where human creativity focuses on architecture, specifications, and orchestration while AI handles the implementation details. You'll ship features that would take traditional teams weeks in a single afternoon. You'll architect systems that evolve and self-improve.
This is for someone who's already glimpsed the future of software development and wants to live in it full-time.
Logistics
· Small team means your voice matters on every decision
· Direct access to founders and leadership in technical direction
