Software Engineer - Code Agent | $90/hr - Remote

Position: Software Engineer (Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python – Code Agent Experience)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $70–$90/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week (potential to extend up to 40 hours/week)

Role Responsibilities

• Use coding agents to perform realistic software engineering tasks on real-world codebases.
• Debug, refactor, and extend production-grade repositories.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to complex coding workflows.
• Contribute to improving AI systems through real-world engineering input.
• Work asynchronously with researchers and engineers on AI-focused projects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience using coding agents in a software engineering workflow.
• Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Demonstrated open-source contributions or strong personal projects shared publicly on GitHub.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
