Backend Software Engineer: Python | Remote

Position: Backend Software Engineer – Python Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $200/hour Location: Remote Commitment: Part-time (15–20 hours/week) Role Responsibilities

• Develop and validate Python-based coding benchmarks using real-world repositories.
• Curate benchmark issues, solutions, and comprehensive unit and integration test suites.
• Ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across benchmark task distributions.
• Provide structured feedback on solution correctness, clarity, and completeness.
• Debug, optimize, and document benchmark code to ensure reliability and reproducibility.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a backend software engineer or related technical role.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with debugging, testing, and validating production-quality code.
• Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.
