Director of Engineering

This is a high-ownership leadership role working directly under the CTO to run engineering operations, guide architecture implementation, and help scale our platform from early development to nationwide launch.

This is a founding team role with equity compensation, ideal for someone who wants to help build a major product from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

• • Work directly with the CTO to turn system architecture into real product development.

• Lead day-to-day engineering execution across multiple portals and apps.

• Write high-quality production code (front-end + back-end).

• Manage engineering workflow, code reviews, and PR approvals.

• Establish coding standards, documentation, and engineering best practices.

• Recruit, mentor, and develop future engineering team members.

• Help scale Crave’n’s platform as we prepare for funding and market expansion.

• Supabase (Postgres, RLS, Edge Functions)

• Capacitor (iOS/Android)

Who We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years full-stack engineering experience

• Strong front-end + back-end skills

• Leadership or team lead experience

• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment

• Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on

• Passion for building products from zero to one

• Someone who wants to grow into a long-term leadership role

💰 Compensation (Transparent Startup Structure):

Equity: 2% – 4% (founding team level)

Salary: Deferred until one of the following milestones:

• Crave’n raises $500k, OR

• Crave’n reaches $100k MRR
