Who We’re Looking For: A dynamic and experienced Manager of Desktop Engineering & Mobility to lead a critical team responsible for endpoint strategy, management, and mobility infrastructure across our client's enterprise. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, self-driven IT leader with deep expertise in Microsoft MECM, Intune, and Omnissa Workspace ONE. You should be comfortable managing a hybrid team, driving modernization initiatives, and navigating change in a complex, multi-hospital environment. Responsibilities: Lead the Desktop Engineering & Mobility teams, managing 25,000+ endpoints across multiple hospitals and clinics. Oversee the implementation, configuration, and support of Microsoft MECM, Intune, and Workspace ONE for device lifecycle management. Direct major initiatives such as Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration and endpoint modernization efforts. Coordinate engineering tasks including image creation, hardware qualification, group policy management, task sequencing, and software deployment. Manage mobility services, including 4,500–5,000 corporate iOS devices and support initiatives around platform transitions (e.g., Intune to Workspace ONE). Collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders to align endpoint solutions with organizational goals. Participate in strategic planning for endpoint and mobility architecture across the enterprise. Maintain operational standards, ensure compliance with security policies, and manage vendor/contract relationships. Coach and mentor team members, creating a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of management experience in end-user computing or desktop engineering roles. Proven hands-on experience with: Microsoft MECM (formerly SCCM) Microsoft Intune Omnissa Workspace ONE Solid understanding of Windows OS (10 and 11), device imaging, application packaging, policy enforcement, and task sequencing. Experience leading teams in a remote or hybrid work environment. Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver results across concurrent initiatives. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; capable of communicating with technical teams and executive stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology field, or equivalent experience. Preferred: Experience in large, complex healthcare or enterprise environments. Familiarity with iOS device management at scale. Background in ITIL/ITSM frameworks, vendor, and contract management. Experience supporting or leading O365, Exchange Online, OneDrive, or Teams migrations. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable. All full time Codeworks employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans. Additionally, employees can participate in Codeworks’ 401(k) retirement plan. Local candidates to Milwaukee area will be given priority but this positions allows for 100% Remote.
