What is in it for you?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with strong expertise in Matillion, Snowflake, and SQL, preferably with experience in the Epic Cogito stack. The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines and supporting data warehousing solutions in a healthcare data environment.

Responsibilities: -

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Matillion for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Develop and support Snowflake-based solutions, including data ingestion, processing, and performance tuning.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support data transformation and analytics use cases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Matillion pipelines and Snowflake objects swiftly and effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Work with Epic Cogito stack components such as Clarity and Caboodle to integrate and manage healthcare datasets.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes.
• Participate in data migration projects, handling large volumes of healthcare data.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable data warehousing solutions.

• This role is remote-friendly. Candidates must reside in or be authorized to work in the United States.

Educational Qualifications: -

• Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Skills: -Mandatory skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in Matillion ETL for building and managing data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake development and performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to debug and optimize queries.
• Experience working with Epic Cogito stack – Clarity, Caboodle, etc.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data migration strategies, and healthcare data standards.
• Experience working with large-scale healthcare datasets and familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools.
• Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Certification in Snowflake or Matillion is a plus.

Salary:The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and location.
