Full Stack Engineer

Senior Product Engineer - TypeScript,Node,React - Remote - £90,000 - £120,000 p/a

Christopher Ali has partnered with an early-stage start-up who are using cutting edge AI to radically revolutionise the way data is presented and collected.

They are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join the team and work on their core product.

This is a full-stack role, so you'll be working on both the backend and frontend. You will need to be a generalist who can write high-quality code and move quickly, however you will have the flexibility to focus on a particular area of the product.

You'll need to be comfortable and excited to work in an early-stage start-up with all the challenges and opportunities that come with it.

Day to day :

• Building features end-to-end.
• Building backend APIs & services.
• Implementing designs (Figma).
• Creating user experiences.
• Building AI features (by integrating with OpenAI, Anthropic etc).
• Crafting UI components with React.

Skills needed :

• Extensive experience with TypeScript, GraphQL and either React or Node (or both), and the ecosystem around it.
• Enjoys being a generalist within a high-performing team. Not tied to a specific framework or area of the codebase.
• Has good judgment of when to ship. Balancing speed and quality isn’t always easy, but navigates it well.
• A focus on building features that deliver real value to users, caring more about solving real problems than the specific tech used.
• High quality of written communication – comfortable with async collaboration, able to write clearly and concisely.
