Senior Node.JS Developer

Working As a Senior Node.JS Developer You Will

• Design, develop, and evolve backend services for the Commercial Data Manager (CDM) platform
• Extend existing CDM capabilities with new features and technical improvements (approx. 70% of role)
• Take ownership of the in-house HubSpot backend solution, including further development and maintenance (approx. 30% of role)
• Architect and implement scalable RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices
• Collaborate closely with the system architect and cross-functional engineering teams
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and observability of backend services through monitoring and logging practices
• Support and mentor engineers through pair programming, knowledge sharing sessions, and technical workshops
• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and cloud infrastructure improvements

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Developer
• 4+ years of commercial experience with Node.js
• 3+ years of experience working with TypeScript
• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, or microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Strong background in database design and management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Experience working with AWS cloud services
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting team skill development

Nice To Have

• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems
• Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka
