Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)
Job Description
Posted on: June 23, 2026
About:
CATCHES builds physics-backed AI for garment simulation and virtual try-on, used by luxury fashion brands. Launched at Nvidia GTC 2026 after several years in stealth at the cutting edge of physics informed research and development, we are now handling enterprise scale consumer-facing virtual try-ons for brand partners globally.
We are backed by investors from both sides of the industry, including Antoine Arnault, Natalia Vodianova Arnault, Roy Chung (founder, Apollo.io), Dillon Erb (founder, Paperspace), Gary Sheinbaum (former CEO, Tommy Hilfiger) and Sarah Willersdorf (former Head of Luxury, BCG).
Hiring locations: Remote (UK, Europe, USA)
Job Summary:
You'll be working on the frontend layer that puts our virtual try-on technology inside live client websites. That means consuming our API and SDK, integrating across ecommerce platforms like Shopify and Salesforce Commerce, and making sure the output is accurate, responsive, and fast in production environments that we don't fully control.
The work sits at the intersection of integration engineering and frontend craft. If you care about both the technical plumbing and what the end user actually sees, this is a good fit.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain frontend integrations using Next.js that connect our API and SDK with client websites across Shopify, Salesforce Commerce, and custom builds.
- Implement responsive, visually accurate UI components that perform consistently across host environments you don't fully control.
- Debug integration and rendering issues across different ecommerce platforms in collaboration with backend and client engineers.
- Write clean, well-documented TypeScript with an eye on performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.
- Contribute to shared integration patterns and tooling as we scale the number of brand partners on the platform.
Requirements:
- Production-grade Next.js.
- Strong TypeScript, with solid instincts around async programming and debugging network requests.
- Experience consuming and integrating Web APIs in client-facing environments.
- Comfortable with modern HTML, CSS, and responsive layout across varied host environments.
- Clear communication with backend and client engineering teams.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Shopify, Salesforce Commerce, or other ecommerce platforms.
- Exposure to design systems or component libraries.
- CI/CD or DevOps workflow experience.
Working at CATCHES:
- Remote with optional co-working access.
- Be part of an experienced team that values shipping, experimentation, and autonomy.
- Contribute early to product and architecture decisions.
- Use cutting-edge tech to deliver pioneering consumer facing technology at scale.
