Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Terms: Contract 9-12 months

Wage: Based on experience- up to $55 and hour

Capstone IT is helping our client who was voted “best place to work” find a Business Analyst who will work closely with stakeholders and Agile teams to gather requirements, map processes, manage test cases, and ensure successful delivery of solutions. This 9–12-month contract role (potential for contract-to-hire) will require a candidate who can thrive in a collaborative Agile environment, taking initiative in crafting user stories, analyzing data, testing solutions, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

2. Process mapping & business analysis
3. Test planning, execution, and reporting (including qTest)
4. User story creation with clear acceptance criteria

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders during sprint cycles.
• Document processes, system information, and meeting notes.
• Analyze requirements, create user stories, and support development of solutions.
• Create and execute test plans and report bugs using tools like qTest.
• Communicate findings, requirements, and testing results effectively.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, reviews).

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with test case design, execution, and bug reporting.
• Experience with qTest, Postman, and tools like Balsamiq (bonus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Adaptability in fast-paced, Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
