We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with 7+ years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. This is a fully remote role for U.S.-based candidates, with quarterly in-person client meetings in Austin, TX.

The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable owning features end-to-end while collaborating with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications
• Build modern UI using Jetpack Compose or XML layouts
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Conduct unit and integration testing and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance, stability, and security issues
• Support the full application lifecycle from development to release
• Participate in quarterly onsite meetings in Austin, TXRequired Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java is a plus)
• Extensive experience with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to debug complex issues and optimize app performance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Coroutines & Flow
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store
• Exposure to cross-platform frameworks (React Native / Flutter)
