The Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their high-performing, globally distributed team. This is a 80% Frontend role.

This role suits an engineer who thrives at the intersection of fintech innovation and AI-assisted development — someone who can build secure, scalable, and visually refined applications, while embracing AI tools as a daily co-pilot to boost speed and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deliver production-ready, pixel-perfect UI in React Native + Expo, using Tamagui and Style Dictionary for design consistency.
• Own and develop neobank features such as wallets, payments, onboarding, transaction histories, and notifications.
• Design and maintain secure, serverless AWS APIs (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Kinesis, EventBridge).
• Integrate stablecoin and blockchain payment flows, ensuring compliance and security.
• Implement real-time features with WebSockets and SSE (including AI-driven chat and streaming UX).
• Optimize for performance (Hermes, Reanimated, FlashList) and observability (Sentry, Better Stack).
• Collaborate with design teams using Figma → tokens → Tamagui workflows.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, Cursor, MCP integrations) to accelerate coding, testing, and prototyping.
• Contribute to the company’s AI-assisted development culture and mentor others in best practices.

Ideal Profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in mobile fintech applications.
• Strong expertise in React Native + Expo and TypeScript full-stack development.
• Proven ability to deliver secure, complex financial applications with outstanding UX/UI quality.
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies and real-time networking (WebSockets, SSE).
• Knowledge of secure authentication (Cognito, JWT, device secrets) and financial data handling.
• Familiarity with stablecoins, blockchain transactions, or payments APIs.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar.
• Based in or open to relocating to Dubai (with company-sponsored visa and relocation support).
• Ideally within ±1 hour of GMT+1 for optimal team collaboration.
