The role

This is the engineering leadership seat at Brdge. You own the function. You sit in front of clients, you run the delivery teams, and you set the standard for how we build. You are equally comfortable in a client boardroom scoping a programme and in the codebase unblocking an engineer at midnight.

This is not a hands-off management role and it is not a pure IC role. It is both. You lead from the front, you ship, and you build the team and the systems that let everyone else ship faster.

What you will own

• The full delivery function across client engagements and Brdge ventures, from scoping through to live and scaled.
• Direct client relationships. You are the engineering voice in the room, translating commercial intent into technical plans clients trust.
• The development teams. You hire, mentor, set standards, and hold the line on quality, velocity, and accountability.
• Our software development lifecycle. You own how we estimate, build, review, test, and deploy, and you continuously make it sharper.
• Our AI tooling strategy across the SDLC. You decide what we adopt, how we use it, and how it compounds our output.

The build

You have shipped real products at scale. Enterprise platforms, consumer apps, and web apps that carry load and real users. You have deployed, scaled, and lived with the consequences. You know the difference between a demo and a production system.

You are fluent and current in:

• React and TypeScript for web
• Flutter for mobile
• Django for backend and APIs

You write code at a senior level, you review with judgement, and you architect systems that hold up.

AI is how we work

This is the part that separates the role. You are deeply proficient in AI and you have an extensive, working command of the tools that exist right now, not last year. You know which agents, copilots, and pipelines move the needle, where they break, and how to wire them into a real SDLC so the team ships materially faster without losing quality.

You bring this into Brdge as a system, not a gimmick. You make our delivery AI-native end to end, and you keep us ahead as the tooling moves.

What we need from you

• A real leader. People follow you because you are clear, fair, and excellent, not because of a title.
• Extensive experience working directly with clients and directly with development teams.
• A track record of building, deploying, and scaling enterprise products alongside apps and web apps.
• Senior-level command of React, Flutter, Django, and TypeScript.
• Deep, current AI fluency and a clear view on leveraging AI across the build.
• The drive to own a function and shape it. This is a VP Engineering pathway for the person who earns it.
