My client is a product-led software business building a modern customer experience platform for eCommerce brands, focused on the post-purchase journey.

They’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong TypeScript and Node.js experience to help scale and evolve a platform used by online retailers, with a particular focus on reliability, performance, and clean engineering fundamentals. React experience is helpful, but the priority is backend and platform engineering.

What you’ll be working on

• Building and scaling backend services in TypeScript / Node.js
• Developing new product features across the platform (end-to-end where needed)
• Working within an AWS environment (production systems, deployment, performance)
• Improving system reliability, monitoring and overall engineering quality
• Collaborating closely with product and commercial teams in a small, fast-moving environment

What they’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience working in AWS (the practical side: building, shipping, operating)
• Good full stack instincts (even if your strength is backend)
• Comfortable owning work from concept to delivery
• Experience in eCommerce is useful, but not required

Nice to have (not essential)

• React
• Experience building Shopify apps or working with Shopify APIs
• Event-driven architectures, serverless patterns, or modern observability tooling

Package

• £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience
• Fully remote role (UK-based)
