We are seeking an API Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure APIs that connect applications, services, and systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys backend development, integration, and enabling seamless data exchange.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to define API requirements
• Ensure APIs are secure, reliable, and performant
• Implement authentication, authorization, and error-handling mechanisms
• Write unit and integration tests for APIs
• Maintain documentation for API endpoints, usage, and best practices
• Monitor and optimize API performance and troubleshoot issues

✅ Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in backend or API development
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or PHP
• Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and development
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Based in Australia with full working rights

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture
• Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for APIs
• Understanding of microservices architecture
