Job Details Description The Magento Front-End Developer is responsible for creating the visual elements and interactive features that users see and interact with directly on the e-commerce website. This role involves building and implementing front-end components using HTML, CSS, LESS, JavaScript, RequireJS, jQuery, and jQuery UI, with a focus on reusability, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) design. The developer will ensure the website meets both aesthetic and functional requirements, optimizing the performance and responsiveness of front-end components to deliver a seamless experience across various devices and browsers. As a vital team member, the Magento Front-End Developer will be expected to collaborate with various stakeholders, communicate effectively, manage multiple projects, and continuously seek ways to improve the website's user experience. This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented developer who can work in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences in an e-commerce setting. This will be a remote position; the individual must reside in the Continental United States. Job Responsibilities

  • Build visually appealing webpages using drag-and-drop creation tools like Figma design, incorporating JS code snippets where required
  • Develop custom pages, widgets, and sections using HTML, CSS, LESS, JavaScript, and jQuery in Magento/Adobe eCommerce
  • Manage special projects to enhance the user experience through coding, delivering unique customer experiences on mobile and desktop platforms
  • Conduct quality assurance testing on desktop and mobile to ensure pages are functional and error-free
  • In collaboration with the creative team, ensure that site content and design elements align with brand standards and best practices
  • Proactively recommend improvements to enhance the user experience of landing pages
  • Manage documentation in Confluence and Jira for efficient project tracking and communication
  • Work with FireBear Import/Export to move pages from staging to production
  • Maintain an organized library of CMS Blocks and media
  • Collaborate closely with product and creative teams
  • Optimize page conversion by tracking user behavior with FullStory G4 and A/B testing tools
  • Provide support for critical system upgrades and releases
  • Able to connect front-end to back-end data points

Minimum Requirements

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, LESS, JavaScript, RequireJS, jQuery UI, and jQuery, with at least five years of experience working with Magento/Adobe Commerce
  • Strong knowledge of Magento/Adobe Commerce Frontend Development Workflow (UI Components, JS Components, Layout Directives, Grunt)
  • Knowledge of Magento/Adobe Commerce coding standards
  • Experienced in interfacing with APIs (SOAP and REST)
  • Proficiency in UX and design best practices
  • Knowledge of ADA Compliance regulations and best practices
  • Experience with responsive layout design for multiple devices
  • Working knowledge of product databases and their architecture
