Senior Engineering Manager, Provisioning Lifecycle Service

Join as a Senior Engineering Manager to lead provisioning-lifecycle team reporting to the head of Core Provisioning. Our teams are responsible for orchestrating the lifecycle of customer instances of all of Atlassian’s products. For example, when customers sign up to Jira dozens of back end systems are involved - databases need to be set up, shards need to be selected, user bases need to be created etc.. Provisioning lifecycle service is managing the system of record for lifecycle events and d reliably across the organisation. We are also responsible for managing other lifecycle events such as changing licenses, adding additional products or deleting or suspecting subscriptions. Be a part of the ongoing growth in this area as we expand the platform to on board the many new products being developed, and evolve Provisioning Lifecycle Service to handle the new bundling and lifecycle requirements that flow from Atlassian’s System of Work, and fuel growth in the enterprise market. ResponsibilitiesYour Responsibilities Will Include

• Coaching and leading 12 ~15 engineers, supporting them in their professional development to unlock their potential, and encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel.
• Work with the organisation’s leadership team to deliver upon the strategic vision and plan for the platform and build quarterly plans to give your team direction.
• Be accountable for and lead effectiveness of the delivery of projects across your team.
• Ensure operational excellence across the services you manage.
• Work with partners across Atlassian to understand our users needs and promote usage.
