Full‑Stack Developer (React / Node.js)

Artificial Intelligence Works Staffing Inc. is hiring on behalf of a venture‑backed health‑tech startup for the role below. Our client builds data‑driven tools that turn real‑time EHR, imaging, and IoT streams into clinician‑friendly web apps. Full‑stack developers here ship features end‑to‑end and can progress into tech‑lead roles within 12–18 months—advancement is based on impact, not tenure.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver product features front‑to‑back: React 18 + TypeScript on the client, Node.js (Express / Nest) APIs on the server.
• Integrate GraphQL & REST services that pull patient data, imaging metadata, and AI inference results.
• Model and access data with Prisma ORM on PostgreSQL; cache hot paths in Redis.
• Own quality: write unit/integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library), e2e tests (Playwright/Cypress), and keep CI green.
• Improve performance and accessibility—Lighthouse 95+, Core Web Vitals, WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
• Deploy and monitor via Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), GitHub Actions, and Datadog dashboards.
• Collaborate across functions with design, data science, and compliance to meet HIPAA/SOC 2 requirements.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: React 18, TypeScript 5, Next.js 14 (App Router), Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, Storybook
• Backend: Node.js 20 (Express / NestJS), TypeScript, GraphQL (Apollo Server), REST (Fastify)
• Data: PostgreSQL + Prisma ORM, Redis, S3, Kafka event bus
• CI/CD & Infra: GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Argo CD
• Observability: Datadog APM, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years building production apps with React and Node.js (TypeScript)
• Solid grasp of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, browser rendering, and API design best practices
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and at least one ORM (Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize)
• Comfort with automated testing, CI pipelines, and Docker‑based deployments
• Strong communication skills; able to translate technical constraints for non‑technical stakeholders
• Bonus: healthcare standards (FHIR / HL7), real‑time websockets, or GraphQL federation

Compensation

$175,000 – $200,000 base + quarterly impact bonus (up to 15 %)
