Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Implement client‑side functionality in React 18 and TypeScript while building and maintaining Node.js 20 (NestJS / Express) backend services.
• API Integration: Design and consume GraphQL (Apollo Server) and REST (Fastify) endpoints that aggregate EHR, imaging, and AI‑generated data.
• Data Modelling: Manage relational data with Prisma ORM on PostgreSQL, incorporate Redis for caching, and use Kafka for event streaming.
• Quality Assurance: Author unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright) and enforce continuous integration standards.
• Performance & Accessibility: Achieve Lighthouse scores of 95 + and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance; monitor Core Web Vitals to ensure sub‑2‑second load times.
• Deployment & Monitoring: Containerize applications with Docker, deploy via Kubernetes (EKS) using GitHub Actions and Argo CD, and monitor with Datadog and Sentry.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design, data‑science, and compliance teams to deliver secure, HIPAA‑ and SOC 2‑compliant solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience delivering production web applications using React and Node.js with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, browser performance optimization, and API design best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL databases—preferably PostgreSQL—and at least one ORM (Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize).
• Demonstrated competence with automated testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker‑based deployments.
• Effective communicator capable of translating technical constraints to non‑technical stakeholders.

Compensation

• Base Salary: USD $165,000 – $180,000
• Bonus: Up to 15 % quarterly, performance‑based
• Employment Type: Full‑time, 12‑month contract with clear conversion pathway to permanent employment
