iOS Release EngineerAbout the Role:
We are seeking an experienced iOS Release Engineer to manage the end-to-end release process for our iOS application. You’ll coordinate builds, ensure smooth deployments to TestFlight and the App Store, maintain signing processes, and continuously optimize our release workflows. Your work will directly impact the speed and quality of updates our users receive.
Responsibilities:
Own the iOS release process — from internal betas to App Store submissions and public rollouts.
Prepare, build, sign, and distribute iOS builds using Xcode, App Store Connect, and CI/CD pipelines.
Manage TestFlight deployments for internal and external beta testing.
Ensure compliance with App Store guidelines and handle app metadata updates (release notes, screenshots, etc.).
Troubleshoot signing issues (certificates, provisioning profiles, entitlements).
Monitor App Store review status and handle resubmissions or escalations if needed.
Monitor release health through DataDog dashboards (crash reports, ANRs).
Collaborate with QA, Product, and Engineering teams on release schedules and hotfixes.
Continuously improve CI/CD workflows for iOS delivery.
Required Skills:3+ years of experience in iOS build/release management.
Strong knowledge of Xcode, App Store Connect, provisioning profiles, signing certificates, and entitlements.
Familiarity with Fastlane (or willingness to implement it).
Experience with CI/CD for iOS apps (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Calm under pressure — comfortable managing hotfixes or urgent rollouts.

Problem-solver mentality — anticipates risks, solves issues before they become problems.
Passion for improving and automating release processes.
