Job Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze data, and provide actionable insights. You will play a key role in identifying business challenges, gathering requirements, and developing strategies to improve processes, systems, and overall efficiency. Your analytical skills will be crucial in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering:
- Work with business stakeholders to collect, clarify, and document business requirements. Translate these requirements into detailed specifications and functional requirements for technical teams.
- Business Process Analysis:
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement. Recommend process optimizations or changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze data from various business functions to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Create regular reports to communicate findings and provide recommendations to management.
- Solution Design & Implementation:
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design business solutions that meet requirements. Assist in the implementation and testing of these solutions, ensuring they align with business needs.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. Communicate project progress, potential risks, and key milestones. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Change Management:
- Assist in managing the change process during system or process implementations. Ensure smooth transitions by providing necessary documentation, training, and support for end-users.
- Project Support:
- Support project managers in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Assist with project planning, risk management, and tracking progress.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work to implement best practices within the business. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Experience working on business analysis projects involving system implementations, process improvements, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Education:
- A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in change management or process reengineering.
- Knowledge of data modeling, business intelligence, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Understanding of business financial modeling or budgeting is a plus.
