About the role
Join a team of CRM specialists and analysts who keep Amnesty International Australia’s CRM systems and data processes running smoothly and reliably. This is a 12 month contract covering core CRM administration and data processing while the team delivers a major systems project.
We need someone who can get up to speed quickly and manage the day-to-day workload independently, with minimal oversight. There’s also scope to spot and fix minor process inefficiencies along the way.
The details
- Fixed-term contract, 12 months
- 75 hours per fortnight
- Level 7.1
- Remote work
- Reports to the Data, Insights and Supporter Care (DISC) Manager
- Start date: as soon as possible
What you’ll do
- Configure and maintain our CRM systems, including user roles, permissions and security settings
- Manage data imports, exports and integrations with external platforms
- Provide help desk support for colleagues, including queries, segments and troubleshooting
- Maintain relationships with vendors, including Blackbaud and payment processors, and manage escalations
- Support data quality, master data management, and privacy and security compliance
- Assist Finance with payment authorisations and transaction processing
- Flag clunky or overly manual processes and fix the quick wins
- Document processes clearly so knowledge isn’t held by one person
- Train colleagues and stakeholders on CRM functionality and data processes
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- Significant experience administering CRM platforms in a fundraising, membership or similar environment
- A proven ability to run CRM administration independently, with minimal supervision or ramp-up time
- Experience with data imports, exports and integrations between systems
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
- The ability to provide effective user support and training
Highly desirable:
- Experience with Blackbaud CRM and BVDL (Brightvine Data Link), or similar enterprise fundraising platforms
- Experience with payment processing systems and reconciliation
- Familiarity with data governance principles
- A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
What makes you a great fit
You’re reliable and self-directed, and you’re happy to own the day-to-day without close supervision. You’d rather fix a problem than write about it, and you’re comfortable saying “this process doesn’t make sense” and suggesting a better way. You can explain technical matters to non-technical colleagues and document things so others can follow them.
What success looks like in your first six months
- You’ve taken full ownership of day-to-day CRM administration
- Data processing, imports, exports and help desk support are running smoothly with no backlog
- Key processes are documented, so knowledge no longer depends on a single person
- You’ve built strong working relationships with all teams
