A typical Alderframe project starts with one order that looks different in three systems. Sales holds the accepted quantity, the warehouse holds what shipped and finance holds what was invoiced. We build the connections and internal tools that keep those records in step through amendments, split shipments, returns and credits.
As a Software Engineer you'll work on those integrations end to end, from the field mapping to the reports people check every morning. Before we propose a build we check whether an existing feature or setting already does the job, and we expect the same from you.
What you'll work on:
- Integrations between ERPs, warehouse systems and accounting software, over REST APIs, EDI and file transfers
- Field mappings, and the rules for what happens when a record is rejected
- Small internal apps, such as a returns approval screen or an order correction queue
- SQL behind reports that show their calculation rules and source records
- Connections that keep failing: finding the cause, not just restarting the job
- Tests and release notes
Requirements:
- A degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Two or more years building production software in one of the languages above
- Solid SQL
- REST APIs and background jobs
- NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Acumatica or SAP Business One
- EDI documents (850, 856, 810)
- Distribution or manufacturing clients
