🔍 About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Architect to join our team on a contract basis, helping to design and implement cutting-edge virtual desktop solutions for our enterprise clients.

You’ll be working with a Microsoft Gold Partner Managed Service Provider, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient AVD environments.

This is a remote role, with flexibility and autonomy to lead solutions from architecture through to delivery.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions for a range of clients.
• Leverage Nerdio for deployment, automation, and optimisation of AVD environments.
• Assess client requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, cloud, and project delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions align with best practices, security, and performance standards.

🧠 Skills & Experience

• Proven experience architecting and delivering AVD solutions in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise.
• Deep understanding of Azure infrastructure, identity, and networking.
• Experience working within or for an MSP or Microsoft Gold Partner environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
