About The Role We are seeking a Senior Web Designer to join our team temporarily while our Principal Web UX Designer is on maternity leave. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our web presence and marketing efforts. You will design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly web pages that align with our brand and design standards, collaborating with marketing and technology teams to achieve high-quality results. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-friendly and visually appealing web pages.
• Ensure all web pages reflect brand standards and communicate effectively.
• Create design assets such as graphics and animations for web pages.
• Build pages within our CMS and follow the web design system.
• Collaborate with project management and stakeholders to meet design objectives.
• Work with the Content Strategy team to create page layouts.
• Provide design assets and specifications to web producers using Figma.
• Apply accessibility best practices (WCAG) to designs.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Understand marketing strategies and target audiences to inform design decisions.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a senior web design role.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, layout, color, and consistency.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and web design principles.
• Understanding of modern UX frameworks and design systems.
• Ability to implement accessibility best practices (WCAG).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in file organization and graphic production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with motion design tools (After Effects, SVG animations).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, Drupal CMS).
• Experience with SaaS UI design and data visualization.

Work Environment

• Fully remote, must work during West Coast hours.
• Applicant must have their own laptop and workstation.

Pay And Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
