About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core components of our scalable, multi-tenant platform. Your expertise will help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud-native applications deployed across web and mobile environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including frontend, mobile, and infrastructure—to build robust microservices, optimize database performance, and implement secure, scalable solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that support global operations and to influence the architecture of a leading low-code platform. Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend Java development
• Expertise in Java 11+ and Spring Boot framework
• Proficiency with Hibernate ORM
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, concurrency, and memory management
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
• Ability to manage complex projects, lead technical initiatives, and troubleshoot production issues
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Willingness to leverage AI/LLMs to enhance development efficiency
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Java 11+), Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Create and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support dynamic, real-time user experiences
• Enhance database performance to handle large, multi-tenant data loads efficiently
• Make architectural decisions focused on scalability, security, and reliability
• Implement secure coding practices, address vulnerabilities, and optimize JVM performance
• Improve deployment pipelines through GitLab CI/CD and automated testing frameworks
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Participate in infrastructure management, system troubleshooting, and mentoring junior team members as needed
