Job Description

Posted on: June 7, 2026

Hey, my name is Gary 👋🏻

I'm the founder of Weblics - a Psychology-first Conversion Rate Optimisation Agency for DTC Brands on Shopify.

Weblics has been on the market for over a year now. We've moved past the "figuring it out" stage - our internal processes are standardised, our methodology is dialled in, and we're now in an active expansion phase. That makes it a great moment to join: you get the stability of established workflows and a proven team, plus the upside of growing with us as we scale.

We're now looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer (Middle+) to join the team.

Who am I looking for?

Soft skills I expect from you:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise competing requests in a fast-paced environment, hitting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to build healthy relationships, collaborate, actively contribute
  • Ability to communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly and simply
  • Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Understand E-Commerce business requirements and objectives - you're not just shipping code, you're shipping things that move metrics
  • Eager to learn, propose ideas, and experiment
  • Ready to make mistakes and take responsibility for them
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Positive mindset, but a realist :)
  • English: Intermediate is enough - daily comms with the CRO manager is in English, and all client websites are in English. Communication between team members is in Russian (the team is across Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia).

Hard skills / experience I expect:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Shopify front-end development
  • Strong command of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), and vanilla JavaScript - no framework-only candidates
  • Familiarity with Shopify 2.0 themes, sections, blocks, and metafields
  • Comfortable working inside popular themes (Dawn, Impulse, Prestige, Symmetry, etc.) and modifying them without breaking things
  • Experience integrating and customising Shopify apps (Judge.me, Klaviyo, Rebuy, Loop, Recharge, etc.)
  • Solid grasp of responsive design, Core Web Vitals, and Shopify performance optimisation
  • Git workflow proficiency
  • Bonus: experience with checkout extensibility / Shopify Functions, headless setups, or building reusable section libraries

Your main tasks:

  • Building and shipping A/B tests - this is ~90% of the time. Implementing CRO hypotheses across PDPs, collections, cart, homepage, landings, etc.
  • Theme development and customisation for client stores
  • Working closely with the CRO manager and designer to turn Figma into clean, performant, conversion-optimised code
  • Daily standups, weekly Monday roadmap planning, providing accurate estimates
  • Ensuring everything is responsive, accessible, and doesn't tank site speed
  • Communicating(written) with clients when needed - answering technical questions

What we offer:

  • Full Time (10/11 AM – 7/8 PM CET)
  • Fully remote
  • No micromanagement - ROWE only
  • Non-toxic, non-stressful clients, non-boring tasks
  • Diverse experience across niches, industries, and GEOs
  • Marvellous team relationships & atmosphere
  • $2000-3500 Net (based on experience and effectiveness)
  • Net income above market average after 3 months

Why join Weblics:

  • A CRO agency in active expansion with standardised internal processes - you're joining a working machine, not a chaotic startup
  • Collaborate with a passionate, expert team in CRO, design, and analytics
  • High-impact projects with innovative DTC brands
  • Flexible remote setup

My team is my main asset. I want to build Weblics with the very best people - folks who take initiative, learn, reflect, create marvellous things and grow as an integral part of the agency.

How to apply: Reach out here on LinkedIn or email me at garyk@weblics.agency.

Regardless of where you apply from - attach links to Shopify stores you've worked on.

That's a must-have. No links, no review.

Cheers, Gary K.
