Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack Engineer - Golang, HTMX, Typescript | Australia-based (remote) | Education SaaS 

Location: Brisbane (Remote) 

Term: Initial 3-6 month contract with the possibility of an extension

We are looking for a person (or team) to develop a number of new features within our exisiting SaaS platform.

Vivedus is an Australian Edutech startup on a mission to transform education globally. The Vivedus learning framework-backed platform reduces teacher workload, enhances lesson quality and provides personalised artificial intelligence coaching.

What You’ll Work On: 

As a Full Stack Engineer working primarily in Golang, you’ll be deeply involved in the evolution of the SaaS platform. You’ll help design, build, test and scale performant APIs and intuitive interfaces that align to business goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop performant APIs and backend services using Go (Golang) 
• Craft interactive front‑end features with HTMX and TypeScript, backed by Templ.  
• Write automated tests, integrate CI, and manage Docker‑based pipelines. 
• Contribute to cutting-edge adaptive‑learning AI features 
• Operate and monitor services on Fly.io and Azure, using Infrastructure as Code. 

What You Bring: 

• Go or similar back‑end expertise and a track record of scalable services in production (Go, PHP, Python, Typescript all strongly considered). 
• Comfortable JavaScript or TypeScript skills and exposure to one or more modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte etc..). 
• Familiarity with Linux, containers, and distributed systems. 
• Passion for readable code, automation, and continuous improvement. 
• A working understanding of generalised hypermedia controls 

Bonus points for: 

• Production experience with HTMX or active contribution to its ecosystem. 
• Knowledge of Turso, Azure Functions, Clerk authentication. 
• Experience as the CEO of HTMX 
• History of OSS contribution
