What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with Customers and other Valant product stakeholders to gather product requirements and translate them into actionable work items for the engineering team to implement
- Own the rollout of new features throughout the product development lifecycle
- Create user-stories, acceptance criteria, and protocols for acceptance testing
- Assist with release preparation, including deployment planning and execution, preparation of release notes and other content, training internal teams, etc.
- Work with senior leadership, product, and engineering leadership to build the product roadmap
- Work closely with software engineers to turn user stories into product features
- Support knowledge transfer to customer and Valant stakeholders related to feature releases
- Assist Sales and Marketing teams with Product Marketing and Go-to-market activities
- Define and prioritize new features and strategic initiatives to support revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and scalability of internal operations
- Leverage digital tools and data to monitor feature adoption/success
- Develop and maintain a “go to” level of expertise with Valant’s software solutions
- Manage Product Partner vendor relationships
- Monitor trends in Valant core and adjacent markets to help inform product strategy
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate LLMs and Generative AI into Valant’s product suite to enhance user experience, automate workflows, and improve clinical outcomes
What You’ll Need
- At least 3 years’ agile software product management experience, preferably enterprise B2B
- Passion for meeting complex, enterprise healthcare problems with elegant, simple user experiences
- The ability to make data driven trade-off decisions between possible and desirable, finding leverage opportunities, which requires a good sense of what is technically feasible
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A positive, proactive mindset combined with excellent prioritization and task management skills
- Ability to story board, and create basic mockups and wireframes
- Analytical, methodical approach to problem solving – ability to break concepts and requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and logical iterative steps for development
- Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals, manage details, and track delivery
- Experience working with or implementing products that leverage LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini)
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, the healthcare domain, UX design, and Product-led Growth are pluses

- Salary Range for this position is $85,000-120,000
