Main Tasks And Accountabilities Will Be

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Work across multiple repositories in a complex application ecosystem.

Build and enhance event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka integrations.

Analyze, maintain, and improve legacy codebases while minimizing business impact.

Assess regression risks prior to implementation and define safe deployment and rollout strategies.

Contribute to system architecture decisions, code quality initiatives, and technical debt reduction.

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA teams, and engineers in cross-functional environments.

Support production environments through troubleshooting, monitoring, debugging, and incident resolution.

Ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and maintainability across backend services.

What do we expect from you?

Mandatory Skills

Advanced experience in Java (5+ years).

Advanced experience with Spring Boot (5+ years).

Strong knowledge of JPA (Java Persistence API) (5+ years).

Strong knowledge of JDBC (5+ years).

Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs (5+ years).

Professional proficiency in English (C1 level).

Preferred Skills

Advanced experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures (5+ years).

Experience working with OpenShift.

Knowledge of Amazon S3 REST APIs and object storage integrations.

Remote position (Spain).
